A pre-race sample was taken from Barroom Blazer.
Woofa Combo, Onya Grover and Gat's Prodigy were slow to begin. Segla, Barroom Blazer and Woofa Combo collided soon after the start. Onya Grover was checked off Dynamite Dex approaching the first turn. Woofa Combo and Taabinga Swift collided approaching the first turn checking Taabinga Swift. Woofa Combo was checked off Barroom Blazer approaching the first turn. Dynamite Dex and Barroom Blazer collided approaching the first turn checking Barroom Blazer. Barroom Blazer and Ima Reality collided approaching the first turn checking Ima Reality and Onya Grover. Onya Grover raced wide on the home turn. Woofa Combo and Dynamite Dex collided on the home turn. Onya Grover raced wide in the home straight. Dynamite Dex cramped in the home straight.
Dynamite Dex was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Cooper the representative of the greyhound Dynamite Dex. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
