Mr. Tim Noy was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration papers for the greyhound Acola Rosebud pursuant to GAR 33.
Following the running of the event the correct numbers were semaphored (8, 7, 2, 3). Whilst inputting the data, the judge inadvertently lodged 8, 7, 3, 2 and then whilst correcting the numbers he inadvertently lodged 8, 7, 2, 4 before amending the numbers to 8, 7, 2, 3, and "All Clear" was then notified on those numbers.
Fluke Of Fantasy and Sugar Lips collided soon after the start. Crafty Maisy crossed to the rail soon after the start. Sugar Lips and Sir Bekim collided in the back straight checking Sugar Lips. Sugar Lips galloped on the heels of Fluke Of Fantasy approaching the second turn checking Sugar Lips, Uno Whirl and Zell Bell. Fluke Of Fantasy and Sugar Lips collided approaching the home turn. Zell Bale and Acola Rosebud collided on the home turn. Zell Bale crossed to the rail in the home straight checking Acola Rosebud and Fluke Fantasty.
