Flywheel Aflie and He's So Good were quick to begin.

Zipping Chrystal and Snow Joke collided serval times soon after the start checking Snow Joke.  Zipping Chrystal and Jen Zarr Go collided on the first turn checking Snow Joke and Jen Zarr Go.  Zipping Chrystal checked off Irish Sparkle approaching the second turn.  Snow Joke and Jen Zarr Go collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  

Snow Joke was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Jen Zarr Go was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a medial left thigh injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Yanick Allen crossed to the rail on the first turn.  Zipping Geoff checked off Nelirian approaching the second turn.  Unix Bale and Zipping Geoff collided on the fourth turn.

Cut Loose Max and Agile Reason collided soon after the start.  Kinrock Starlet, Same Day and Hisagi Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Kinrock Starlet and Same Day.  Hisagi Bale checked off Golden approaching the first turn.  Kinrock Starlet, Same Day and Cut Loose Max collided on the first turn checking Same Day and Cut Loose Max.  Same Day and Cut Loose Max collided on the second turn checking Same Day.  Kinrock Starlet checked off Agile Reason in the back straight.  Kinrock Starlet and Cut Loose Max collided entering the home straight.

Wind Whistler and Agent Jack collided on the first turn.  Waymore's Blues and Coulta Rock collided in the front straight.  Cosmic Wise checked off Ralphy Cinel on the second turn checking Agent Jack and Coulta Rock.  Wind Whistler checked off Cosmic Wise on the third.  Lamia Bale and Wind Whistler collided in the home straight.  Waymore's Blues and Cosmic Wise collided approaching the winning the post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Galea the trainer of the greyhound Sisco Rage after he boxed the greyhound in the incorrect row. Mr. Galea stated that he intentionally boxed his greyhound prematurely as he felt that the greyhound was cantankerous at the start and he did not want to hold up the greyhounds in the second row. Mr. Galea also claimed he did not hear the direction from the starter to wait and box his greyhound in the correct row, which the Stewards accepted. After speaking to Mr. Galea stewards felt his actions were poor and did not indicate that of a person with extensive experience in the industry that Mr Galea has. After considering the matter Stewards fined Mr. Galea the sum of $500, with $250 wholly suspended for a period of 12 months, pending no further breaches of GAR 51.

A pre race sample was taken from Humphrey Bale prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course.

Dynamic Punch was slow to begin.

Kerrigan Bale and Lochinvar Impact collided approaching the first turn.  Morningside and Humphrey Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Kerrigan Bale, Morningside and Humphrey Bale collided on the first turn.  Turbo Norris and Ima Fairytail collided on the first turn.  Recruitment and Turbo Norris collided entering the back straight causing Recruitment to contact the running rail and lose ground.  Morningside and Recruitment and Morningside collided in the back straight.  

Recruitment was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn webbing left hind injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Turbo Norris was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration dorsal left hind paw, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Sweet It Is prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course.

Sweet It Is checked off Lady Toy on the first turn checking Opec Bale.  Opec Bale, Beks and Luna Jinx collided approaching the second turn.  Sweet It Is and Mepunga Tiara collided approaching the home turn.  Sweet It Is and Lady Toy collided on the home turn.

Gaucho and Andiamo Neo collided approaching the first turn.  Velloway, Gaucho and Andiamo Neo collided on the first turn.  Velloway and Gaucho collided on the second turn.  Airbound and Velloway collided on the second turn.  Airbound checked off Andiamo Neo on the third turn.  Nockabout Aussie checked off Gaucho on the third turn.  Gaucho and Andiamo Neo collided on the home turn.  

A sample was taken from Fever Pitch - winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. P. Akathiotis regarding the direction that the greyhound Nockabout Aussie be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that the box first be removed. 

Broadway Miss was quick to begin.  Cambridge Prince was slow to begin.  

Pipeline Rumour and Shanlyn Patch collided soon after the start.  Ikari Spark galloped on Pipeline Rumour on the first turn checking Pipeline Rumour.  Ikari Spark and Lissa Breen collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Cambridge Prince checked off Pipeline Rumour on the second turn.  Ikari Spark checked off Zipping Eastwood approaching the third turn.  Cambridge Prince and Pipeline Rumour collided on the fourth turn.  

Miss Johannsen. Dyna Zod and Jewel Bale were slow to begin.

Miss Johannsen and Dyna Zod collided approaching the first turn.  Angel Of Music, Ultimate Talent and Mr. Fox collided on the first turn checking Ultimate Talent.  Dyna Zod checked off Miss Johannsen on the first turn.  Ultimate Talent and Miss Johannsen collided on the second turn.  Miss Johannsen and Mr. Fox collided in the back straight.  Mr. Fox checked off Jewel Bale on the third turn.  Ultimate Talent checked off Miss Johannsen on the third turn.  Mr. Fox checked off Jewel Bale approaching the home turn.  Miss Johannsen checked off Angel Of Music approaching the home turn.  Ultimate Talent checked off Jewel Bale on the home turn.  

Mr. Fox was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained medical stifle bruising, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs A. Dailly handler of the greyhound Crackerjack Burn and reminded her of her reasonabilities to box the greyhound in a timely manner.

Sweet Barbados was a late scratching at 3.15pm due to an injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Minstrel Prince and Flywheel Magic collided soon after the start.  Earl Bale, Carly Jay and Minstrel Prince collided approaching the first turn.  Earl Bale and Flywheel Magic collided serval times on the first turn and again approaching the second turn checking Earl Bale, Flywheel Magic and Dyna Brainiac.  Minstrel Prince checked off Dyna Brainiac approaching the second turn.  Minstrel Prince and Carly Jay collided on the second turn.
