Steward's Report
Railway Conder was slow to begin. Senorita Daphne, Tekki Tremor, Unbound and Gitcha Rich collided soon after the start, checking Unbound. Senorita Daphne, Tekki Tremor and Get Me collided approaching the first turn, checking Senorita Daphne and Tekki Tremor. Stop Moochin', Gitcha Rich and Get Me collided on the first turn, checking Gitcha Rich. Railway Conder, Get Me and Gitcha Rich collided approaching the home turn, checking Railway Conder and Get Me. Railway Conder, Get Me eased on the home turn and collided with Tekki Tremor checking Tekki Tremo and Senorita Daphne. Tekki Tremor and Get Me collided several times in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Tekki Tremor was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr V. Millington, the trainer of the greyhound Get Me regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Get Me was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh and neck, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR69(B)(1), the stewards charged Get Me with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Millington pleaded guilty to the charge, Get Me was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
