Crackerjack Hano was quick to begin. Play Your Ace was slow to begin. Cruising Thyme galloped on the heels of Smart Business on the first turn checking Smart Business. Tallinn and Honey Girl collided approaching the home turn checking Honey Girl. Honey Girl, Play Your Ace and Spring Series collided approaching the home turn checking Honey Girl and Play Your Ace. Smart Business checked off Honey Girl on the home turn.
Honey Girl was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Crackerjack Hand- the winner of the event.
The Judge inadvertently semaphored the numbers for Race 1 as 3,10,8. This was rectified to the correct placings 2,3,10 & 8 and All Clear was given on the Judges numbers.
