Izumi was quick to begin.  Super Songbird and Select Seaspray were slow to begin, and collided soon after the start.  Maximum Input and Jesaulenko collided approaching the 300m mark.  Jesaulenko and Stagger Pace collided at the 300m mark and again at the 250m mark, checking Stagger Pace.  Super Songbird and Stagger Pace collided at the 250m mark.

Maximum Input was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Some Nights was quick to begin.  Time To Embrace, Dorothy Rawson and Major Crush collided soon after the start.  Dorothy Rawson and Major Crush collided at the 250m mark and raced wide as a result.  Time To Embrace and Cafe Dior collided at the 200m mark.  Precious Prize checked off Time To Embrace at the 150m mark.

Dee Sticky was a late scratching at 11.43am on the advice of the club's veterinary surgeon due to an elevated temperature.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Star Ripper was quick to begin.  Danyo's Tom checked off Red Light Runner at the 250m mark.  Mean Disposition checked off Major Talent at the 200m mark.  Star Ripper raced wide throughout the event.

D Crawford, trainer of Red Superman redeclared a new weight of 32.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Red Superman last raced at 31.2kgs.

Topper Harley checked off Franklin Senior soon after the start.  Bejay The Dejay and Vintage Warrior collided at the 300m mark.  Bell Tower, Franklin Senior and Bejay The Dejay collided at the 150m mark, checking Franklin Senior.  Topper Harley checked off Brendan's Puzzle at the 150m mark.  Brendan's Puzzle checked off Franklin Senior approaching the winning post.  Bell Tower checked off Bejay The Dejay approaching the winning post.

Lita's Lad and Soul Maker were slow to begin.  Soul Maker checked off Unquestionably at the 250m mark.  Miss Latoya and Corgi Cry collided at the 250m mark, checking Miss Latoya.  Go Go Danni and Home Alone collided at the 200m makr.  Miss Latoya checked off Corgi Cry at the 150m mark.  Go Go Danni and My Minion collided approaching the winning post.

Following the event, the judges inadvertedly semaphored the incorrect placings and displayed a dead heat for second between 6 and 8.  This was amended to the correct placings of 5 6 8 3 before the all clear was given.

Advice Aplenty and Remote Control were slow to begin.  Watto's Chase and Remote Control collided soon after the start.  Planetman and Advice Aplenty collided soon after the start.  Advice Aplenty checked off Watto's Chase at the 200m mark.  Shifty Jack checked off Castle Black at the 150m mark.

Premier Song and Tungawonga were slow to begin.  Final Deception, Ima Cosmic and Daddy's Sally collided soon after the start, checking Ima Comic and Final Deception.  Premier Song crossed to the outside soon after the start and raced wide.  Ima Cosmic and Marmion Star collided at the 250m mark.  Daddy's Sally and Premier Song collided at the 200m mark.  Marmion Star checked off Cosmic Scar at the 150m mark.
