Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Couldridge after the greyhound Advice Aplenty was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr. Couldridge was reminded of his responsibilities and was advised when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with the kennel procedure.
Stewards spoke to kennel attendant, Mr. R. Gladman after the greyhound Advice Aplenty was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr. Gladman was reminded of his responsibilities and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future. The matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration.
Advice Aplenty was slow to begin. Tempus Fugit and Lord Regnar collided approaching the first turn checking Tempus Fugit. Elite Stress checked off Lord Regnar approaching the first turn. Court Gift, Sparkling Kitty, Tempus Fugit and Elite Stress collided approaching the first turn checking Sparkling Kitty and Advice Aplenty. Court Gift, Tempus Fugit and Elite Stress collided approaching the home turn checking Tempus Fugit. Tempus Fugit and Advice Aplenty collided on the home turn. Advice Aplenty and Court Gift collided entering the home straight.
Sparkling Kitty was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial Results.
Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Carr, the trainer of Reality Girl regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Reality Girl last raced on 16th July 2015. Ms. Carr stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season, an injury to its left fibula and a change of trainer. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Reality Girl trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 3, weight 30.8kgs. The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.43. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.75 lengths. Reality Girl was cleared.
Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Chircop, the trainer of Jack Mountyl regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Jack Mounty last raced on 30th November 2015. Mr. Chircop stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an injury to its left shoulder and a change of trainer. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Jack Mounty trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 8, weight 33.4kgs. The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.43. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 5.5 lengths. Jack Mounty was cleared.
