Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Robinson trainer of the greyhound Good Wick which had not raced since 12th December 2015.  Mr. Robinson stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after recovering from a left foreleg tendon injury.

Good Wick and Hardaway Terror were slow to begin.  Elusive Escapee, Shades Of Sassy and Sweet Charmola collided approaching the first turn checking Shades Of Sassy and Sweet Charmola.  Swazza's Rocket and Midnight El collided approaching the first turn.  Good Wick and Sweet Charmola collided approaching the home turn checking Good Wick.  Belt Up Foss and Elusive Escapee collided approaching the home turn severely checking Elusive Escapee.  Good Wick, Elusive Escapee and Sweet Charmola collided on the home turn checking Good Wick and Sweet Charmola and severely checking Elusive Escapee.  Good Wick and Sweet Charmola collided several times entering the home straight and in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds.
