Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Jasmine Lilly.
Lukey Boy, Crucify and Cadence Bale were slow to begin. Cheap Currency checked off Cosmic Owl soon after the start. Crucify and Cadence Bale collided on the firs tturn. Lukey Boy, Saint Oaks and Cheap Currency collided in the back straight, checking Cadence Bale, severely checking Saint Oaks and causing Lukey Boy to fall. Jasmine Lilly and Cheap Currency collided approaching the home turn.
Lukey Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left foreleg wrist, and was humanely euthanised.
Saint Oaks was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right hindleg thigh injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
