Veetee Princess crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Psycho's Wild and Ice Cold Bundy. Ice Cold Bundy and Psycho's Wild collided on the first turn checking Psycho's Wild. Psycho's Wild and Court Gift collided on the first turn severely checking Southwood Rose and Court Gift, Court Gift stumbled as a result. Vasile Boy and Psycho's Wild collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Vasile Boy and Veetee Princess raced wide in the home straight. Rocksferry Road and Psycho's Wild collided in the home straight checking Rocksferry Road. 

Southwood Rose was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Court Gift was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Under Taker was a late scratching at 5.12p.m. on Veterinary advice (GAR 37(fleas)). No day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Silvertop and Mag Spring were quick to begin. Silent Fletch was slow to begin.

Silent Fletch checked off Mepunga Nick soon after the start. Adara Lad and Full Slippers collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Adara Lad. Silent Fletch contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Full Slippers contacted the running rail approaching the home turn checking Full Slippers. Adara Lad and Full Slippers collided several times approaching the home turn. Full Slippers raced wide in the home straight.

Maxi Taxi and Be Hopeful were slow to begin.

Irish Connection and Maxi Taxi collided soon after the start checking Maxi Taxi. Jack McCoy, Chubba Chops and Gangalla Nugget collided approaching the first turn checking Chubba Chops and Gangalla Nugget. Gangalla Nugget and See Him Go collided on the first turn severely checking Gangalla Nugget. Jack McCoy and Irish Connection collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Maxi Taxi galloped on the heels of Gracie's Guess approaching the home turn checking Maxi Taxi and Gangalla Nugget. Jack McCoy and Irish Connection collided several times approaching the home turn checking Jack McCoy. See Him Go galloped on the heels of Chubba Chops in the home straight. Be Hopeful raced wide throughout the event. 

All Mighty One was a late scratching at 4.52p.m. on Veterinary advice (GAR 37(fleas)). No day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Hawka Tron was slow to begin.

Cosmic Daicos and Miss Petrova collided approaching the first turn. Pierre White checked off Bobby's Rascal approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Miss Petrova checked off Pierre White on the first turn. Pierre White checked off Bobby's Rascal and raced wide approaching the home turn. Miss Petrova, Gary Groundwork and Sunset Magic collided approaching the home turn checking Miss Petrova and Sunset Magic. Cosmic Daicos raced wide in the home straight. Gary Groundwork and Sunset Magic collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Pierre White was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hamstring. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Robinson, the trainer of Sunset Magic regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed to retrieve the greyhound for racing. Stewards issued Mr Robinson with a warning. 

Zulekha was slow to begin.

Pason Sander, Mepunga Ledger, Pyrenees Grrand, Who Dey and All For Nothing collided soon after the start checking Pason Sander, Mepunga Ledger, Pyrenees Grand and Who Dey. Speed Chill and Code Breaker soon after the start. Mepunga Ledger and Speed Chill collided in the back straight. All For Nothing checked off Code Breaker on the second turn checking Speed Chill, Pyrenees Grand and Pason Sander. Who Dey, All For Nothing and Speed Chill collided on the home turn. Mepunga Ledger checked off All For Nothing in the home straight. 

Mepunga Ledger was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. I. Robinson, the handler of Pyrenees Grand regarding his negligence in placing the greyhound in the incorrect starting box. Stewards fined Mr. Robinson the sum of $50. In determining the penalty Stewards took into consideration Mr. Robinson's excellent record in many years of greyhound racing, his guilty plea and the possible ramifications had the greyhound started from the incorrect box. 

Cincinnati Lee and Where's Exford collided approaching the first turn. Annie Weaver, Cincinnati Lee and Where's Exford collided approaching the first turn checking Cincinnati Lee. Annie Weaver checked off Where's Exford on the first turn. Annie Weaver checked off Uno Whirl on the home turn checking Cincinnati Lee. Cruisen Billy raced wide on the home turn. Annie Weaver and Cincinatti Lee collided in the home straight checking Annie Weaver. Red Light Runner, Mclanahan and Uno Whirl collided approaching the winning post.

Turbine and Massive Merv were slow to begin. 

Shameless Bandit, All Bar One and Play A Kazoo collided approaching the first turn checking All Bar One. Ketut's Kaput crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Inventor and Shameless Bandit and severely checking Play A Kazoo. All Bar One and Play A Kazoo collided on the first turn. Massive Merv faltered approaching the home turn and pulled up. Shameless Bandit and Turbine collided approaching the home turn and raced wide on the home turn. Seabrook Snow and Ketut's Kaput collided in the home straight. 

Massive Merv was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock and was humanely euthanised. 

Lite Beam was slow to begin. 

Castle Black, Elanora Beach and Kosmik King collided soon after the start checking Castle Black and Elanora Beach. Castle Black and Elanora Beach collided on the first turn severely checking Castle Black. Lektra Luther checked off Kosmik King on the first turn. Sofa So Good and Lektra Luther collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lite Beam raced wide on the home turn. Lektra Luther raced wide in the home straight. 

Shifty Jack and Tigress Eight were slow to begin. 

Valentine Belle and Nitro Cru collided soon after the start checking Nitro Cru. Advice Aplenty and Lila's Girl collided approaching the first turn checking Advice Aplenty, Uno Frankie, Valentine Belle and Lipstick Stain. Lila's Girl and Tigress Eight collided approaching the home turn checking Tigress Eight. Lipstick Stain checked off Uno Frankie on the home turn and entering the home straight. Nitro Cru and Advice Aplenty collided in the home straight. Uno Frankie and Valentine Belle collided approaching the winning post. 

Jack's Prince was a late scratching at 5:17a.m. due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. K. Quinn was fined the sum of $100.

Wood Cutter Stan and Savage Storm collided soon after the start. Puzzle And Me checked off Archibald Prize approaching the first turn checking Wood Cutter Stan. Savage Storm, Archibald Prize and Kyl's Me Mate collided on the first turn severely checking Archibald Prize. Water Bag and Archibald Prize collided approaching the home turn checking Archibald Prize. 

Squirrel Benz, Pulciano, Ice Flicka and Mahogany Diamond collided soon after the start checking Pulciano, Ice Flicka and Mahogany Diamond. Sloan Ranger, Go Go Danni, Ousti and Miss Geeves collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Geeves and Ousti. Ousti checked off Miss Geeves on the first turn. Mahogany Diamond galloped on the heels of Ice Flicka approaching the home turn checking Ice Flicka and Ousti, Squirrel Benz and Mahogany Diamond fell as a result. Ousti raced wide on the home turn. 

Squirrel Benz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right forearm and was humanely euthanised. 

Mahogany Diamond was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hock and the left paw. No stand down period was imposed.
