Lunar Eclipse and Hanging In There were quick to begin. All Courage and Conspiracy were slow out and collided soon after the start. Boxhead and Bambi Boucheau collided approaching the first turn. Lunar Eclipse and Boxhead collided approaching the first turn, Bambi Boucheau checked off the heels of Boxhead on the first turn, Conspiracy and Rugall collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Lunar Eclipse and Boxhead collided on the first turn checking Lunar Eclipse and severely checking Boxhead. All Courage checked off the heels of Boxhead entering the back straight, Bambi Boucheau checked off the heels of Boxhead approaching the home turn.
Conspiracy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a tear to the left monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
