Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Are You Okay.
Are You okay, Hamish Rose, Irish Brie and Normal Life were slow to begin.
Whiskey Jess underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Joseph Sultana regarding Whiskeyt Jess overall performance in the event. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Sultana to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Whiskey Jess in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Irish Bree lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey injury and a right hindleg back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Irish Brie - unplaced in the event.
