A pre - race sample was taken from Why Not Wayne prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course.
Lites And Sirens was slow to begin.
So Far checked off Dzeko approaching the first turn. So Far and Miss Bo Wicked collided on the first turn checking So Far and Lites And Sirens. Miss Bo Wicked and Lites And Sirens collided entering the front straight.
Stewards spoke to Mrs. E. King regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Slipaway Mavis. Stewards directed the Slipaway Mavis be boxed first in future events.
So Far was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left fore spike wound injury, no stand down period was imposed.
At the conclusion of the event the judge inadavertantly semaphored the numbers 5,8,1 before immediately semaphoring the correct numbers 5,4,8,1
