Luring Panther was a late scratching at 2.14p.m. due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Harrier Bale was slow to begin. Ima Bandit went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths).

Atari Flash checked off Lucy Love approaching the home turn. Ima Bandit raced wide throughout the event.

Ima Bandit was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left back webbing. No stand down period was imposed.

Vivid Intent crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Tip Audacious, Gin Bale and Ima Menace. Last Investment and Tip Audacious collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Tip Audacious checked off Ima Menace on the first turn. Vivid Intent and Virtue collided on the home turn. Tip Audacious raced wide on the home turn. Ima Menace and Gin Bale collided in the home straight.

Steel Rain checked off Bella Bullet soon after the start. Castigate and Sharnica collided on the first turn. Lever Action and Farrah Bale collided approachng the home turn. Sharnica, Castigate and Farrah Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Farrah Bale, Lever Action and Castigate. Lever Action and Castigate collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Sharnica and Farrah Bale collided in the home straight.

Castigate was vetted and revetted following race 7. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Santa and Ketchum were slow to begin.

Umiko Bale, Ketchum and Pure Gassed collided several times soon after the start. Santa checked off Urban Rock Star on the first turn. Urban Rock Star and Umiko Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Urban Rock Star. Ketchum crossed to the rail entering the home straight checking Urban Rock Star.

Mr. L. Morshead, trainer of Morson Senor redeclared a new weight of 33.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Morson Senor last raced at 34.8kgs.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Shazzle's Boy trialled over the 450m distance from box 1, weight 31.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.36, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of .75 of a length. Shazzle's Boy was Cleared.
