Steward's Report
Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Kennel Attendant Mrs J.Hooke did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way affected the outcome of this event
Running River – Late scratching at 1:21pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr M.Davis informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Davis that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
Supplementary Report – 5/12/24: The 28 day stand down was removed from Running River after Mr Davis provided Stewards with sufficient evidence of the vehicle breakdown.
A pre race urine sample was taken from Havana Bluebird.
Craig Keeping was quick to begin. Havana Bluebird raced wide in the home straight.
