Steward's Report
Bomber's Shadow – Late scratching at 10:31am due to weight variation (GAR 101). Bomber's Shadow is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Mr. Geoffrey Green was fined $100.
Terrorising Tom and Hurricane Elsie were slow to begin.
Hurricane Elsie (poor performance) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following event 5 - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Ms. Victoria Sultana regarding the overall performance of Hurricane Elsie. After hearing submissions from Ms. Sultana, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
Kokoda Trail underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right front split webbing. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
