Steward's Report
Our Last Hope – Late scratching at 10:10am due to weight variation (GAR 101). Our Last Hope is not permitted to compete for 10 days in any other Event. Trainer, Ms. Donna Knight, was fined $100.
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Black Prestige.
Showgirl Shirley was quick to begin. Firing Chief and Tassie Time were slow to begin. Black Prestige went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin.
Alfie Abalone raced wide throughout.
Loyalty Card (checked entering the home straight and lost ground thereafter) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right gracilis injury as well as left and right wrist sprains. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
