Steward's Report
Jilliby Mish and Shall Be Quick were quick to begin. Shy Cabang was slow to begin.
Moraine Hope (marred Shall Be Quick in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left triceps muscle, right toe, left back muscle and right back muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. Briana Robertson-Leech regarding Moraine Hope's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Moraine Hope was charged with marring. Ms. Robertson-Leech pleaded guilty to the charge. Moraine Hope was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Bendigo and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
