Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Big Stacks.
Ballymac Storm and Aston Perk were quick to begin.
Big Stacks faltered turning off the back straight and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 11. Big Stacks was found to have a right back muscle injury A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Kate Gorman regarding Big Stacks overall performance in the event. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Ms Gorman to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Big Stacks in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Aston Perk - the winner of the event.
