Steward's Report
The start was delayed by approximately two minutes due to operational activities.
Gold Harada (turned head outwards entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have right toe injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Representative Mr G.Fullerton regarding Gold Harada’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Gold Harada was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Fullerton pleaded guilty to the charge. Gold Harada was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Clause Edward (severely checked and lost ground approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Released (severly checked and lost ground approaching the home turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hip injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Collinda Blue (lost ground on the first turn) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right deltoid injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
