Steward's Report
Impact Bale, Weblec Belle, Black And Pretty and Jack Silver collided soon after the start checking Weblec Belle and Black And Pretty. Weblec Belle, Black And Pretty and White Walker collided on the first turn checking Weblec Belle and White Walker. Weblec Belle and White Walker raced wide as a result. Dyna Ping, Impact Bale and Crackerjack Burn collided approaching the third turn checking Dyna Ping. Impact Bale eased on the home turn and collided with Jack Silver.
Impact Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr T. Mitchell, Representative of the greyhound. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), Stewards charged Impact Bale with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Mitchell pleaded guilty to the charge. Impact Bale was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
