Steward's Report
M. Scott, trainer of Goldwyn Star redeclared a new weight of 26.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Goldwyn Star last raced at 24.4kg.
Hippy Jet was slow to begin. Slipaway Anna, Hippy Jet and Lita's Lad collided soon after the start. Goldwyn Star and Lita's Lad collided approaching the first turn, checking Goldwyn Star. Da Hound and Kayla's Effort collided on the home turn. Conga raced wide in the home straight, faltered and pulled up. Da Hound and Goldwyn Star collided approaching the winning post.
Conga was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a break to the right front leg. The greyhound was humanely euthanaised.
