Gravitation and Dr. Gomez collided approaching the first turn checking Quantum Bale, Four Elements and Cerberus and severely checking Dr. Gomez. Quantum Bale and Four Elements collided approaching the home turn checking Four Elements and Lektra Crash.
Four Elements was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Dr. Gomez was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to handler Mr. Brendon Quick regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Cerberus. Stewards directed that Cerberus be boxed first in future events.
