Beers And Bikes – Late scratching at 11:38 due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Dallan Klemke informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Klemke that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Kilmany Warrior was quick to begin. Galloping Demi was slow to begin.

Snowy Alford was slow to begin.

Snowy Alford faltered on the first turn and subsequently lost ground, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Nolan Bale was slow to begin.

Ross Street Pete and Magic Bee were quick to begin.

A post–race urine sample was taken from Ross Street Pete – the winner of the event.

Audacious Paddy – Late scratching at 12:07 when Mr Kevin Wainwright reported the greyhound to have a tendon injury (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Rough Gem – Late scratching at 13:58 when Mr Frederick Bickerton reported the greyhound to have Illness-Diarrhoea  (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Mr. Groove was slow to begin.

Mr Groove lost ground over the concluding stages of the event, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg triangle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr Greg Murphy regarding Mr. Groove overall performance in the event. Pursuant to GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr Murphy to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Mr. Groove in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event. 

Spicy Madam and Mina Wings were quick to begin. Indestruct and and Super Speed were slow to begin.

Paw Penelope contacted the running rail on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left elbow spike wound injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

A urine sample was taken from Rhine Star upon arrival at the course. 

Galloping Jessie was quick to begin.

Fly High Zeus was slow to begin.

A carpark urine sample was unable to be obtained from Chi Foose, a pre – race urine sample was subsequently taken.

Daintree Vision, Yarrell Bale and Enraged were slow to begin.
