Kurraca Jinnie, checked and lost ground turn into home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Edinburgh Bale underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left whip muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr L Harris regarding Edinburgh Bale’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Edinburgh Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr L Harris pleaded guilty to the charge. Edinburgh Bale was suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
