Steward's Report
Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was suspended at 2:54pm due to storm conditions surrounding the Ballarat Greyhound Racing Club venue. Upon the easing of weather conditions, races were re–scheduled as follows:
- Race 6: 3:44pm
- Race 7: 3:59pm
- Race 8: 4:14pm
- Race 9: 4:29pm
- Race 10: 4:47pm
- Race 11: 5:04pm
- Race 12: 5:19pm
Prior to the resumption of racing, Stewards inspected the track and deemed it suitable for racing.
The start of this race was delayed by approximately two minutes due to holding for a Gatton Harness race.
Oh Evie and Superior Monique were quick to begin. Squeaky Carroll and Jolly Johnny were slow to begin.
Kel Of Kintyre raced wide in the back straight.
