Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning and Thunderstorm Safety Procedure, racing was suspended at 8:35pm due to continuous lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around the Bendigo venue. Due to the ongoing nature of the storm activity and in the interests of participant and greyhound safety, pursuant to GAR 111(4), Races 8, 11 and 12 were abandoned at 9:40pm.
Races 6, 7, 9 and 10 have been postponed pending a further decision to be made on the running of these events (heats) by the GRV Racing Department.
