Steward's Report
A pre–race urine sample was taken from Paua Of Tessa.
Ambani was slow to begin.
Songkran was severely checked approaching the first turn and subsequently tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 10. Songkran was found to have a right hindleg hamstring injury and a left hindleg back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Swiper underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have splt webbing to the right foreleg. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Cool It – the winner of the event.
