Steward's Report
The start was delayed by approximately one minute due to holding for the Wagga harness race.
Ithacan Goddess, Ballymac Storm and Don't Think Do were quick to begin. Tiles And Wine and Crypto Tiger were slow to begin.
Following this event, Don't Think Do was pronounced deceased by the On–Track Veterinarian due to an incident in the catching pen. The greyhound was found to have a spinal fracture injury. A necropsy will be conducted in accordance with GAR 43.
Supplementary Report – (24/9/24) A necropsy was conducted on Don't Think Do which was pronounced deceased by the On– Track Veterinarian following the running of Race 1. The likely cause of death was an occipital bone fracture with brainstem injury (base of the skull).
