Steward's Report
Got My Mojo was quick to begin. Moraine Gloria and Miss Boom raced wide in the home straight.
Sugar Shine (turned it's head outwards in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind toe injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Peter Dunlevey regarding Sugar Shine’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Sugar Shine was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Dunlevey pleaded guilty to the charge. Sugar Shine must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Moraine Gloria (severely checked in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to trainer, Miss. Briana Robertson-Leech regarding the racing manners of Moraine Gloria. After hearing submissions from Miss. Robertson-Leech, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
