Steward's Report

Tilla Bale and Proven Kodiak were slow to begin. Deadly Samual and Frisky Colour collided soon after the start, checking Frisky Colour. Tropical Oasis and Morello collided approaching the first turn. Tilla Bale and Deadly Samual collided on the first turn, checking Deadly Samual. Frisky Colour eased and pulled up on the first turn. Tropical Oasis and Morello collided on the first turn. Proven Kodiak checked off Come At Me approaching the home turn, checking Deadly Samual. Deadly Samual raced wide in the home straight. 

Frisky Colour was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Mills, the trainer of the greyhound Frisky Colour regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Frisky Colour with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr S. Mills pleaded guilty to the charge, Frisky Colour was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
