Zelemar Rose was quick to begin.  Vulcan Rose, Unloved and Destini Diamond collided soon after the start.  Vulcan Rose, Destini Diamond and Virginia Rose collided on the first turn checking Destini Diamond.  Virginia Rose was checked off Cosmic Dolly on the second turn.  Destini Diamond raced wide approaching the home turn.

Mrs. Lesley Russell the handler of Red Aidan redeclared a new weight of 29.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Red Aiden last raced at 29.4kg.

Lindenow Bomber and Red Aidan were slow to begin.  Lady Ameera and Gaelic Tralee collided soon after the start.  Sharnica and Lady Ameera collided approaching the first turn.  Gaelic Tralee and Scary Sister collided approaching the first turn.  Gaelic Tralee and Surprise Billy collided on the first turn checking Gaelic Tralee and Lindenow Bomber.

Dick Dastardly was slow to begin.  Hippy Jet crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Surprise Escape, Razor Rose and Parumba Lachlan.  Surprise Escape was checked off Parumba Lachlan approaching the first turn checking Hippy Jet.   Dr. Peekaboo, Riverside Shaz and Parumba Lachlan collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  El Staggerita and Razor Rose collided on the first turn.  Dr. Peekaboo galloped on Riverside Shaz approaching the home turn checking Riverside Shaz, Razor Rose and El Staggerita.  El Staggerita and Riverside Shaz collided approaching the home turn.  El Staggerita, Razor Rose and Surprise Escape collided approaching the home turn.

Riverside Shaz was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle and grazes to the left hind leg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Benny's Reality and Riverside Wade were quick to begin.  One Door Shuts was slow to begin.  Benny's Reality and Riverside Wade collided approaching the first turn checking Benny's Reality, Gaelic Flight and Paramount Pink.  Gaelic Flight and Robartette collided on the first turn.  One Door Shuts, Gaelic Flight and Where's Sandy collided on the first turn checking Gaelic Flight.

Red Maxwell and Beamus were slow to begin.  Bouchard, Betsy Ann and Buddie Bargain collided soon after the start.  Red Maxwell, Buddie Bargain and Beamus collided approaching the first turn checking Red Maxwell.  Bobby's Rascal, Bouchard and Canino collided approaching the home turn checking Bouchard.  Buddie Bargain, Betsy Ann and Beamus collided approaching the home turn checking Betsy Ann.  Red Maxwell raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Trevor Allen the handler of the greyhound Bobby's Rascal and issued him with a warning for failing to parade the greyhound in a nose strap pursuant to GAR 35.

High Style, Knees Up and Risk Of Damage were slow to begin.  Salegreys Power, Where's Milly, Risk Of Damage and Mystic Cloud collided on the first turn checking Mystic Cloud.  Fourier Bale and Risk Of Damage collided approaching the home turn.  High Style, Where's Milly and Mystic Cloud collided approaching the home turn checking Mystic Cloud.  High Style, Where's Milly, Knees Up and Mystic Cloud collided approaching the home turn checking High Style.  Little Sparrow and Risk Of Damage collided on the home turn causing Risk Of Damage to race wide.  High Style and Where's Milly collided in the home straight.  Risk Of Damage raced wide in the home straight.

Dr. Peter was slow to begin.  Nelirian, Bark Simpson, Star Lord and Alderaan collided soon after the start checking Nelirian.  Winston Rose, Dr. Peter and Bark Simpson collided on the first turn.  Winston Rose and Dr. Peter collided several times approaching the home turn.  Military Man and Dr. Peter collided on the home turn.

Mick Mow and Lochinvar Bide were slow to begin.  Daintree Warrior and Star City Roller collided approaching the first turn.  Stagger and Star City Roller collided on the first turn checking Daintree Warrior and Lochinvar Bide.  That's About Me and Mick Mow collided approaching the home turn checking That's About Me.  Stagger and Aeroplane Rex collided in the home straight.

Star City Roller was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right back muscle and right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Zelemar Knight and Good Judge Buddy were slow to begin.  Laquita Lass and Stealthy Blonde collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Laquita Lass faltered approaching the home turn and subsequently tailed off.  Select Jess and Good Judge Buddy collided entering the home straight.

Laquita Lass was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Avon Power was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right monkey muscle and right back muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Precipitation and Cosmic Johno were slow to begin.  Plaza Boy and Zelemar Doll collided approaching the first turn.  Zelemar Doll, Bravo Boy and Hanging In There collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Johno and severley checking Black Shuck and Precipitation, both greyhounds stumbled as a result.

Senor Tab and Booberry were slow to begin.  Senor Tab, I'm So Late, Booberry, Cowrie and Dr. Buffy collided soon after the start checking Booberry.  One Grand Tiger, Senor Tab, I'm So Late, Booberry and Cowie collided approaching the first turn.  One Grand Tiger, Dr. Buffy and Booberry collided on the first turn checking Senor Tab and I'm So Late.  One Grand Tiger and Dr. Buffy collided on the first turn severely checking One Grand Tiger.  Magaluf Bob, Go Grumpy and Cowrie collided approaching the home turn checking Magaluf Bob.  Go Grumpy, Cowrie and Booberry collided on the home turn.  Go Grumpy and Booberry collided in the home straight.
