Make Papa Proud and Dr. Gomez were quick to begin.  Gaelic Dancer was slow to begin.  Arvo's Nico checked off Baroness Jill approaching the first turn.  Arvo's Nico checked off Dr. Victoria Pea on the first turn.  Barry Beach checked off Gaelic Dancer on the first turn.  Play Your Ace clipped the heels of Baroness Jill approaching the home turn checking Play Your Ace and Dr. Victoria Pea.  Gaelic Dancer raced wide on the home turn.  Dr. Victoria Pea and Barry Beach collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Zeva Diva and Jungle Jane were quick to begin.  Amaroo Emirates and Black Alabar were slow to begin.  Hold On Nitro checked off Tina Lee soon after the start.  Zeva Diva checked off Tina Lee approaching the first turn.  Tina Lee crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Papillon.  Amaroo Emirates and Zeva Diva collided several times approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Black Alabar checked off Jungle Jane approaching the home turn.  Papillon raced wide on the home turn.  He Gone checked off Hold On Nitro on the home turn.

Mervue was quick to begin.  Dr. Stevo and One Mid were slow to begin.  Mervue crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Hotlips Matilda, Need's Luck and Feeling Lucky.  Feeling Lucky, Need's Luck and Hotlips Matilda collided approaching the first turn checking Need's Luck and Hotlips Matilda.  Feeling Lucky checked off Dr. Peekaboo on the first turn.  Need's Luck checked off Hotlips Matilda on the first turn.  Dr. Peekaboo checked off Electrona Lass approaching the home turn.  Feeling Lucky and Hotlips Matilda collided approaching the home turn checking Feeling Lucky and Dr. Stevo.  Need's Luck and Hotlips Matilda raced wide on the home turn.

Dr. Stevo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustainedan injury to its right elbow.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Wia Good was quick to begin.  Cawbourne Mighty was slow to begin.  Tinder King checked off Zsa Zoom approaching the first turn.  Black Samsara checked off Mohawk Mako on the first turn checking Zsa Zoom and All Starzar.  Uvalde and Cawbourne Mighty collided approaching the home turn.  Black Samsara and Zsa Zoom collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Uvalde.

Zelemar Doll was quick to begin.  Dr. Talkback was slow to begin.  No Points went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Kallara Gem, Onyx Black and Argyle Diamond collided soon after the start checking Onyx Black.  No Points checked off Onyx Black on the first turn.  Dr. Buffy, Run Sophie Run and Argyle Diamond collided on the first turn severely checking Run Sophie Run and Argyle Diamond.  No Points and Run Sophie Run collided on the home turn.  Run Sophie Run raced wide entering the home straight.

Big Mannie was a late scratching at 9:08am due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jarry Reg and St. Victory were quick to begin.  Angel's Chief was slow to begin.  See You Win checked off Jarry Reg soon after the start.  See You Win checked off St. Victory approaching the first turn.  Lefty Burner and Jarry Reg collided on the first turn checking Jarry Reg.  Ragtime Rosie, Smash It and Jarry Reg collided approaching the home turn checking Smash It and Jarry Reg.  Jarry Reg checked off Smash It on the home turn.  See You Win raced wide on the home turn.

Jarry Reg was vetted following the event and was found to have heat stress.  After being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that the greyhound had recovered and no stand down was imposed.

Zambora Power was quick to begin.  Good Old Oscar and Charlotte Belle were slow to begin.  Good Old Oscar, Mr. Rosato and Mantaray Lad collided soon after the start checking Mr. Rosato.  In The Flesh checked off Gifted Man approaching the first turn.  Good Old Oscar, Gifted Man and Zambora Power collided on the first turn checking Good Old Oscar and Gifted Man.  Mantaray Lad, In The Flesh and Charlotte Belle collided on the first turn checking Mantaray Lad and Charlotte Belle.  Mr. Rosato checked off Mantaray Lad entering the home straight.

Charlotte Belle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Ripplebrook Al, Money To Burn, Team Player and Darley Sunday collided soon after the start checking Money To Burn and Darley Sunday.  Tayler's Special, Miss Delight, Ripplebrook Al and Team Player collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Delight and Ripplebrook Al.  Fawn Kara checked off Tayler's Special approaching the home turn.  Tayler's Special raced wide on the home turn.

Mr. T. Interligi, trainer of Inter Sandra redeclared a new weight of 26.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Inter Sandra last raced at 28.4kgs.

Coop's Surprize and Tricky Mover were slow to begin.  Highfield Zibia checked off Inter Sandra soon after the start.  Amaroo Chaos checked off Bluie Munro approaching the first turn checking Shuffling Sebba.  Inter Sandra and Shuffling Sebba collided on the first turn.  Before Dawn checked off Amaroo Chaos approaching the home turn.  Highfield Zibia raced wide on the home turn.  Tricky Mover checked off Bluie Munro on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Bluie Munro raced wide entering the home straight.  Bluie Munro tired over the concluding stages of the event and lost considerable ground as a result.

Bluie Munro was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left shoulder.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Coop's Surprize was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr. R. Matthyssen, trainer of Twycroft Betty redeclared a new weight of 28.2kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Twycroft Betty last raced at 29.4kgs.

Mrs. Crunkett was vetted prior to the event and passed fit to race.

Elite Tulip was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Mrs. Crunkett checked off Dr. Les soon after the start.  Dr. Les and Rulla Ronaldo collided on the first turn checking Dr. Les.  Mrs. Crunkett checked off Elite Tulip on the first turn.  Uno Nando checked off Dr. Cinnamon approaching the home turn.  Dr. Les and Rulla Ronaldo collided entering the home straight.

Elite Tulip was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from One Step Beyond, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Little Mantra was slow to begin.  Just Dee Patient and Lilly's Hand collided soon after the start checking Lilly's Hand.  Lilly's Hand galloped on the heels of Darley Chilly on the first turn checking So Far Away and severely checking Lilly's Hand and Darley Chilly; Darley Chilly tailed off as a result.  Won Wron Flyer checked off Wicked Wendy on the home turn and collided with Dead Set Glamour.  Won Wron Flyer checked off Dead Set Glamour in the home straight.

Won Wron Flyer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained pain to its abdomen.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Darley Chilly was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left hip and spine soreness.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
