Adara Lad, Big Barking Bert, Oakmont Octum and Mr. Leigh were slow to begin.

Adara Lad, Big Barking Bert and Mr. Leigh collided soon after the start checking Mr. Leigh. Adara Lad checked off Big Barking Bert approaching the first turn causing Adara Lad to contact the running rail. Oakmont Octum, Phoebe Bale and Big Barking Bert collided on the first turn checking Phoebe Bale, Big Barking Bert, Milly O'Muffin and Mr. Leigh. Adara Lad checked off Phobe Bale approaching the home turn. Mr. Leigh and Milly O'Muffin collided approaching the home turn. Adara Lad checked off Mr. Leigh on the home turn checking Milly O'Muffin.

Milly O'Muffin was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustianed spike wounds to both hocks. No stand down period was imposed. 

A. Dailly, trainer of Josie Bale redeclared a new weight of 26.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Josie Bale last raced at 27.5kg.

S. McKenna, trainer of Live To Dream redeclared a new weight of  31.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Live To Dream last raced at 30.1kg.

Newbridge Saint was slow to begin.

Black Oak and Miss Marwin collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Marwin and Beautiful Rick. Newbridge Saint galloped on the heels of Black Oak on the first turn checking Black Oak and severely checking Newbridge Saint. Live To Dream checked off Taxi approaching the home turn. Mordor Bale and Newbridge Saint collided approaching the home turn checking Newbridge Saint. Black Oak and Miss Marwin collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight. 

Uno Krypto checked off Uno Sparti approaching the first turn. Tambay Bale and Dollar Wonder collided several times approaching the first turn severely checking Dollar Wonder which contacted the running rail as a result. 

Dollar Wonder was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained multiple abrasions to the tail. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Big Boy McEvoy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right hind. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stroma and Thunder Chief collided approaching the first turn. Miss Shirleen and Tribal Faith collided on the first turn checking Tribal Faith which stumbled as a result. Stroma and Miss Shirleen collided on the first turn checking Miss Shirleen, Thunder Chief, Stinga Rebel and Chivalry. Stinga Rebel checked off Chivalry on the second turn. 

Tribal Faith was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Hogganaught was slow to begin. 

Ulla Allen and Hoover Jack collided soon after the start. Skyfire crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Old Jock and Hoover Jack. Old Jock and Hogganaught collided approaching the home turn. Old Jock checked off Hogganaught on the home turn checking Got Held Up. 

Hoover Jack was vetted and revetted following race 9. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Bottom Dollar and Ketut's Kaput collided several times approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds. Enjoy Cruising, Bomber Attack and Empire Allen collided approching the first turn checking Bomber Attack. Stagger and Bomber Attack collided approaching the home turn checking Bomber Attack. Bottom Dollar and Ketut's Kaput collided approaching the home turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results

Spa Katness trialled over the 450m from box 3, weight 28.1kgs, the greyhound placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.79, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 1.25 lengths. Spa Katness was Cleared.
