Steward's Report
King Pop – Late scratching at 12:24 due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr. Matthew Tabb informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr. Tabb that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. Supplementary Report – 28/6/24 - The 28 day stand down was removed on 28/6/24 after Stewards were provided with evidence that confirmed the vehicle breakdown.
Mr. Shane Spence failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Super Flirt for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
Hiurricane Max was quick to begin.
