Steward's Report
Black Smiley was quick to begin. Hunting Girl and Sleek Design were slow to begin.
Contagious Allen raced very wide turning off the back straight.
Contagious Allen (racing manners turning off the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was found. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Corey Fulford regarding Contagious Allen’s performance and racing manners from turning off the back straight. Mr. Fulford declined the option to have the greyhound re-examined. After hearing submissions from Mr. Fulford, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Contagious Allen unsatisfactory. Contagious Allen must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Hurricane Polly (faltered turning off the back straight and lost ground) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 10. Hurricane Polly was found to have a spike wound on the right fore toe. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
