Steward's Report
A pre race urine sample was taken from White Crest.
Hotel Whisky One was quick to begin. Packham Prince was slow to begin.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Hotel Whisky One – the winner of the event in a new track record of 24.660
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mrs Kelly Bravo regarding Ben Keeping’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Ben Keeping was charged with marring. Mrs Bravo pleaded guilty to the charge. Ben Keeping was suspended for 28 days (1st) at Ballarat and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Packham Prince (trainers request) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a fractured left fore toe. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
