Extreme Avenger (lost ground in the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. Joe Borg regarding Extreme Avenger’s racing manners in the back straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Extreme Avenger was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Borg pleaded guilty to the charge. Extreme Avenger was suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Ishmy Belle was slow to begin. 

Upon Bale (Stewards Request) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a triangle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Sharpnel was slow to begin. 

Ruxton Flame and Deadly Avenger were quick to begin. Spring Coin was slow to begin.

A post-race urine sample was taken from Deadly Avenger - the winner of the event.

Miss Mary Jo, Xeni Bale and My Gracie were slow to begin. 

Miss Mary Jo (collided with the rail in the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion in the left hind foot. No stand down period was imposed.

Liveable (severely checked turning into the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a back injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Different Here (collided with Rear Vision turning out of the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Xeni Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. Clinton Keith regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After hearing evidence from Mr. Keith, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards took no further action. In arriving at this decision, Stewards took into consideration that greyhound Rear Vision fell in front of Xeni Bale and the effect this incident would reasonably have had on the racing manners of Xeni Bale.

Rear Vision (severely checked and fell turning out of the front straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Mr. Bart Russo failed to catch Miss Mary Jo at the conclusion of the race. A fine of $50 was issued for negligence, pursuant to GAR 156(f).

A pre–race urine sample was taken from Letizia.

Tudor Peak, Ari Gold and Sir Dodge were slow to begin. 

A post-race urine sample was taken from Southern Law - the winner of the event.

Southern Law (turned head outwards on the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a back injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Representative Mr. Steven Hanning regarding Southern Law’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Southern Law was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Hanning pleaded guilty to the charge. Southern Law must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre–race urine sample was taken from Aviation.

Paw Summer was quick to begin. Paw Helion and Aviation was slow to begin.

Aviation (poor performance) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
