In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed ‘Heat Affected’. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 28.1 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.2 degrees. Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue, as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy.
Sinaloa Icon was quick to begin. Flash Abbey and Tat Buddy were slow to begin.
It was noted that the muzzle of Tat Buddy became dislodged during the running of the event.
