Steward's Report
A pre–race urine sample was taken from Smackdown Shaka.
Candles was quick to begin. Oakover Road and Super Mabior were slow to begin.
Moraine Demon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion and a split webbing. A 10 day stand period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms. Briana Robertson-Leech regarding the racing manners of Moraine Demon in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Ms. Robertson-Leech, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
