Steward's Report
Spirit World and Betsie Bale were slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Ben Joske regarding the racing manners of Daintree Goddess entering the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Joske, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
Mr Shane Spence failed to catch Betsie Bale at the conclusion of the race. A previous suspended fine of $100 was activated and a fine of $200 (wholly suspended) was issued for negligence, pursuant to GAR 156(f).
A post–race urine sample was taken from Paw Lauren – the winner of the event.
