Steward's Report
A urine sample was taken from Internal Affairs upon arrival at the course.
Baggio was quick to begin. Empty Your Mind, Something Clever, Dasher Bale and Internal Affairs were slow to begin.
Miss Scotch Less lost ground turning off the back straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left foreleg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mrs. Maureen Brown regarding the performance of Miss Scotch Less. After hearing submissions from Mrs. Brown, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
