Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Distracting.
Distracting – Late scratching at 7:57pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to injuries to the left wrist and left monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Wild Cash was quick to begin. Payback was slow to begin.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Wild Cash - the winner of the event.
Stewards questioned Mr. Terrence Erenshaw, the kennel representative of both Flying Envy and Wild Cash, after Flying Envy performed below market expectations. Flying Envy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pencil muscle injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards noted Mr. Erenshaw’s explanation and directed a sample to be taken from Flying Envy.
