Steward's Report
A pre–race urine sample was unable to be obtained from Invictus Blue, a post–race urine sample was subsequently taken.
Little Chatter was quick to begin. Waikiki Pearl was slow to begin.
After The Bell (turned its head outwards soon after the start) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Mr. Gerard O'Keeffe declined the option to have the greyhound re–examined. Stewards spoke to Mr. O'Keeffe regarding After The Bell’s racing manners soon after the start. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, After The Bell was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. O'Keeffe pleaded guilty to the charge. After The Bell was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
