Steward's Report
Open Heaven – Late scratching at 10:22am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a lump over the left track leg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Jason Rose, Why Not Barney and Saintly Sal were slow to begin.
Saintly Sal (checked soon after the start and lost ground thereafter) underwent a post-race veterinary exmaination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle and right triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race blood sample was taken from Prestia - the winner of the event.
