Steward's Report
Aaron Alpaca – Late scratching at 2.24pm due to weight variation (GAR 101). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. Colin Baker, was fined $100.
Queston Bale was quick to begin. Big Boy Andre and Dasher Bale were slow to begin.
Misdirected raced wide entering the home straight. Little Poppet raced wide in the home straight.
Queston Bale (turned its head inwards in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 12 - no apparent injury reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms. Tammy Kennedy-Harris regarding Queston Bale's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Queston Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Kennedy-Harris pleaded not guilty to the charge. Queston Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Geelong and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
