Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Nashville Bale.
Warm Cockles underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left quadricep injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr David Burnett regarding Warm Cockles' racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Warm Cockles was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Burnett pleaded guilty to the charge. Warm Cockles was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
