Steward's Report
Tornado Jack, Kid George and Aston Blend were slow to begin.
Kraken Cool (marred Tornado Jack entering the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore carpus abrasion injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr K.Eyles regarding Kraken Cool’s racing manners turning into the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Kraken Cool was charged with marring. Mr Eyles pleaded not guilty to the charge. Kraken Cool was was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
