Steward's Report
Tinker Lee, Canya Vivi and Havana Rose were quick to begin. Aston Dimitri and Trumpeter Rock were slow to begin.
Tinker Lee (visibly eased and turned its head outwards on the turn out of the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no injury reported. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr Craig Burns regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the event. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Tinker Lee was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Burns pleaded guilty to the charge. Tinker Lee was suspended for 28 days at Geelong only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Canya Vivi (checked and fell on the turn out of the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no injury reported.
