Wavering checked and lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury and a left triceps muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Purple Sapphire incident in catching pen, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
